Dress Code: Upstage Us. Look, we're getting married, but we refuse to be the best-dressed people there. That would be boring, and we're not boring people. This isn't black tie, but it is fancy party attire. We're formally inviting you to dress like you've been waiting your whole life for someone to explicitly tell you to do the absolute most. That vintage piece that feels a little theatrical? Perfect. Your wildest jumpsuits? Obviously yes. If you're thinking "this might be too much for a wedding," you're on exactly the right track. Wear whatever will make you point at photos in 30 years and say, "God, I looked great that night." Please. Upstage us. We insist.

If your invitation specifically names a guest, bring them! If not, please come solo. Our venue has a strict capacity limit, which led to a much shorter guest list than we had hoped. Don’t worry — we've strategically seated you near people we think you'll find fascinating. Trust the process.
-
We've decided to make this an adults-only celebration. Think of it as our gift to all the parents — a rare night to focus on each other and remember what it's like to eat a meal while it's still hot. We promise the party will be worth the babysitter budget!
-
You've come to the right wedding. We are the king and queen of dietary restrictions. Please list any restrictions or allergies in your RSVP form. Your server will also help you order something as dietarily compliant as it is delicious.

There is a parking garage around the corner from the venue. However, we highly (highly) recommend taking Uber or Lyft!
Parking in the Mission on a Saturday night involves complex algorithms and the occasional blood sacrifice, neither of which we recommend attempting on our wedding day.
-
Doors open at 6:00PM, and the ceremony begins at 6:30PM. We would love to have everyone seated when we begin. Drew, being a quintessential Virgo, appreciates punctuality. Mariah, being a Taurus, understands if you're running a few minutes behind.
A note from the wedding planner: Arrive on time, don’t listen to Mariah xoxo

The best neighborhoods in the city are the best partly because there aren’t many hotels. We recommend booking an Airbnb or Vrbo in the Mission, Castro, Haight, or Bernal Heights neighborhoods.
However, we do love a hotel robe and room service. If that’s more your thing, here are a few we recommend:
The Fairmont – Classic Old San Francisco. Fancy, fun, and at the tip top of one of those very big, very beautiful hills.
Hotel Kabuki – Where the cool kids stay. In the heart of Japantown.
Hotel Castro – A little boutique spot with a great bar downstairs. It also happens to be around the corner from our apartment, so you’ll be in good company among some of the most interesting neighbors in San Francisco.

Georgia sends her regrets. She’ll be celebrating from afar with Danny and Marco, her most favorite dogsitters, alternating between excessive tail wagging and sleeping upside down.

You got a postcard in your book (invitation). We want it back. But not as it is. Fill out the mad-lib, and put that thing in a mailbox! A prize for whoever makes the funniest joke about Drew.
Let's be pen-pals — just don’t expect a handwritten response from us any faster than we respond to our texts.
